1990lumina Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 Hey guys. Where all should I start looking for the cause of noice in my front end on the Lumina? I find when I am for example turning (while deaccelerating nomally) and hit an area of rough surface (small ruts or something) the front end makes a "crunching" type noise. I was thinking maybe there is an isolator pad under the front springs or something that is worn out. Or maybe a worn sway bar end link bushing or something? It's gotten progressivily worse this winter though, and seems to make the noise over the smaller bumps in the road now - but it really only does it while turning. If I have to I can make a video of this noise as it is easy to reproduce. Thanks Quote
SigEpCutlass Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 If the noise only happens when turning, I would examine your struts and the strut mounts. Quote
Euro Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 x2. Those troubled my Lumina as well....but luckily I sold it before I had to replace them Quote
