badassoldspower Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 My coilover on my RR the upper spring bushing is completely shot, and the spring grinds in to the aluminum mount itself, I need to know if anyone knows where to get one or if anyone has one. Quote
pwmin Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 just take those aluminum mounts out, you don't need them. the stock mounts are fine. Quote

intern8tion9l Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 whats the question? he told you which one you need... Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Those bushings are what I used when I rebuild my FFP coilovers. I only used them on the bottom on the adjuster nut because the top bushings were in good shape. These are what they look like: They fit the spring like a glove. Quote

19Cutlass94 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 In comparing them with the style that FFP gives you, they are a little different, I have a few here, Ill go out and take a few cell phone pics ( since my camera still doesnt work ) to show how how they fit the top of the spring. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Heres the new bushing In the spring, which you can see. You can also see the Old bushing on top of it. This bushing will fit like a glove. Ive had these bushings on the bottom on the adjuster nut for several thousand miles and they still look like I just put them in. Quote
AWeb80 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Thanks Jay. how much are these bushings? I'm thinkin about putting new struts in for the heck of it....and i'd like to put these on the bottom of the nut like you. ....right now, i've just got 3 layers of innertube......lol Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 I bought two pairs of them and I think it was around $35? It was too bad really. I just wish I put those on the top as well when I rebuilt them. Quote
