Doober Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Have a good time of a day to everyone! 1991 Buick Regal Limited 3,1 Could somebody help me with TCC (torque converter clutch) solenoid wiring diagram. On my car, socket ,mounted on transaxle body, seems to be broken, other part of it together with harness connector has the same shape, and there are no exact position of socket to connect. I see only 1 wayout: to find solenoid circuit by means of multimeter, and connect it respectively to wires colors, Quote
Doober Posted January 27, 2008 Author Report Posted January 27, 2008 Thanks to everybody. Problem successfully solved Quote
rockfangd Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 ouch that must have been fun to fix. how is it working Quote
Doober Posted January 29, 2008 Author Report Posted January 29, 2008 The fun was very short term. I found a diadgram, took multimeter, than i took 5 min to figure out proper socket position. About TCC operating: TCC solenoid locks torque converter clutch on 2,3,4 gear for the sake of better fuel economy. Quote
rockfangd Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 lol mine doesnt like to unlock most of the time. I wish i could unplug it like the 93. Every time i want to accelerate i have to hold the brake pedal enough to activate the brake switch.. lol so people probably wonder why i am slowing down but speding up at the same time Quote

I think it'd be easier to fix then push prake pedal before accelerating. Quote
rockfangd Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 well the TCC is the whole problem i just dont have time to pull the tranny side pan to change the sensor. I am too booked up with other things Quote
