midstar Posted July 18, 2003 Report Posted July 18, 2003 My transmission is sometimes hard (really hard) to shift into gear, 1st, 2nd, reverse. I have lubed the shift cables and the shifter itself. And I also tried to lube the levers on top of the tranny. It only helps a little bit. Does anyone know that if the levers on top of the transmission can be replaced easly if they have excessive play (what would excessive play be?), or would something internal be binding up?
