3 wire plug

after i put my new heads on lower intake and upper intake i noticed that the 3 wire plug that gos to the block the plug is missing like what it plug in too its a 97 3100 thx

very informative.

 

are you saying this is a sensor on the block and you cannot locate the wire that goes to it? where on the block is it? OR is it on one of the heads or one of the intakes or on the throttle body itself????

 

specifics make all the difference in the world.

seriously man, you can not possibly even expect MR GOODWRENCH HIMSELF to know what the hell you are talking about in this description, wow man either a pic as per0781 asked or just be alot more informative

NO its not a cam sensor if it was a cam sensor it would be hidden behind the fron engine cover but these engines have no cam sensor all the functions of a cam sensor is conrtoled from the crank position sensor

srry guys its hard to discribe it go's on the top of the block next to the lim passangers side. hope this helps :mrgreen:

You might want to re-read this again. And are you really telling me these engines have no cam sensor? Its called a cam position sensor. a 3 wire sensor that is below the steering pump on the passengers side of the LIM!
