Heza Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 ok, so the very last bolt i attempt to remove in the timing belt process snapped my t-50 torx at the tip leaving a small piece in the bolt itself. it wiggles around inside, but i cannot get it to slide out. EDIT: will use magnet to remove piece aside from that issue, if its that tight in there, what other options are there to get that bolt freed (aside from building a broken pile of t-50 bits). Psych0matt Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 Mine was really tight as well, I put an allen wrench on it, and got a tire iron or some kind of breaker bar and went to town, and it finally broke loose.
