thats great you have one, where do i get it tho???? :bash:

you make them

take your original dogbones, drill them out a bit and install this bushing from energy suspension.

3-7103 R

if you want red bushings

3-7103 G

if you want black

A set includes two bushings. I put the poly bushings just on the engine side, and left the rubber on the frame side. Its worth it. Plus you don't get the increased vibration from them then. The reason that they always break on the engine side isn't because of stress such much as it is the heat. Poly stands up much better.

If you want full poly bushing like FFP was you will have to buy two sets.

Here's what mine look like on my TGP

I got a set of aluminum dogbones from one of the cars at the junkyard and drilled them out and polished them, next best thing to FFP's, not to mention a third of the cost. I like them.

Yeah, that's what I did a few years ago. You'll need a 1 3/4" hole saw to cut out the center "V" portion of the dogbone. With cast iron dog bones you'll need lots of three-in-one oil to keep it cool and lubricated on the slowest speed of a drill press.

na, you just need a decent drill bit. Its aluminum so its pretty soft. I just used some WD-40 and went to town. I have a drill press so it took me like all of 15 min. If you have a hand drill, good luck. then after the hole is drilled, you much clean the hole up to get rid of the excess, becasue the bit cannot get a perfect circle on a V. Not to hard to do, if you want I will make them I thik the bushings are $20 so how about $50 powdercoated?

How about somehting like this

What length is that dogbone center to center? It almost looks as though an ultimate dogbone for a V6 Fiero would fit. I'd have to go measure the one on my '87 GT...

Why would you do that when the dog bones off the 97-03 plus the part that bolts the the core suuport will bolt right up to the older w's and you can save all the headache of the drill press and still be able to run poly mounts

I was not aware of that. if it works, then that gives me a good mind to grab a few next time im at a yard.

x2, although I personally prefer the way mine turned out, of course my dad has a drill press at work so that helped.
