IRONDOG442 Posted February 28, 2008 Author Report Posted February 28, 2008 Heres a picture of the oldsmobile car hauler setup at Indy ! Quote
AWeb80 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 they probably crushed the truck too.... Quote
GPX Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 And thats "the rest of the story". Rob, it's not all of the story. Why do you know all of this? Did you work for Olds? If so, did you know Larry Wallen? As far as I'm concerned, he's the guy who made Olds interiors the best of all GM cars, but I don't know when he retired. You seem to have so much info, but it all really begs for more. Someone really should write the history of Olds--is that someone you? Quote
IRONDOG442 Posted February 29, 2008 Author Report Posted February 29, 2008 What else do you need to know ? Â I know more than most people (not trying to outclass Tony for once either) about Oldsmobile !!! Quote
slick Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 redcar, there are not many people that know the history of Old's as Rob does. If you were ever to talk to him on the phone, or meet him in person, you would truly understand. If you ever make it to NorthWest Ohio, please PM Rob or I, and we will both meet up with you to take you for a beer, show you a showcar Intrigue, and talk GM. Quote

5speedz34 Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 redcar, there are not many people that know the history of Old's as Rob does.
