mra32 Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 So I'm looking at these pads I got for the 94+ calipers i got and there are no retaining clips on them or anything. Is this normal, what do I do to install them? They are Raybestos Service Grade that i got from RockAuto and the part number is SG508M. I got the matching set for the front. Am I gonna have a problem when I go to install them? Quote
Hairdo12 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 They sit in the caliper bracket. Here is a front view of them installed... Look closly and you'll see the metal clips that the pads slide on. If you are missing the clips, they are included in the boot kit from autozone. Quote
mra32 Posted January 4, 2008 Author Report Posted January 4, 2008 Ok so I see what I need for the rear, what about the front? Quote
mra32 Posted January 6, 2008 Author Report Posted January 6, 2008 bump? I gotta order some parts soon Quote
mra32 Posted January 8, 2008 Author Report Posted January 8, 2008 bump? I think i'm gonna get a new set of brake pads if nobody comes up with something. Or maybe i'll fabricate some clips. Is this a bad idea? Quote
Chancho Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 the front pads have the clips built in to them Quote
