19Cutlass94 Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 There is an adapter... but it depends on what HU you get / have. Quote
CRONER Posted January 1, 2008 Author Report Posted January 1, 2008 I was thinking nothing too fancy, 100 - 150 $ cd player, like sony, pioneer etc. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Still depends on what one you get. Theres certain SWC/PAC models that work with different HU's. Quote

GP1138 Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Best Buy sells a generic programmable controller for $99, I'm told. I've never seen it though. Quote
CRONER Posted January 1, 2008 Author Report Posted January 1, 2008 I asked them, they said no... mybe the sale guy was just dumb, but he convinced me they dont have it. Asked in C.City as well, same answer. Quote

It's kept in the install bay. IMO, it's more of a pain than than the $99 bill. I'd order the PAC specific brand one, will make life much easier. Quote

slick Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Yeah, it will work, and will work good, but the one that's sold there is a pain. The PAC brand, in my experience, is much better and easier. Quote
