GhrarhG
I posted this on 60 degree v6, but I thought I'd try here too in case. I'm in the process of doing a turbo swap onto my 88 GP with a HM 282. I have all the mechanical done, but I'm having trouble with the ECM Pin outs. I have a FSM for my car, and it doesn't list a wire being at A18, where I want to put the wastegate solenoid wire, but sure enough there is. I've looked all through my manual and I cannot find what the hell A18 is in my car. I found one reference in the back that has all engine connectors, and it shows a black w/pink tracer being located there, but doesn't describe it in any way. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Thanks, Jon
stockgp
that wire has something to do with the AIR system for the manual tranny. are you looking at the diagram for a manual? an automatic won't have that wire
GhrarhG
Yeah, I found it, it was for the air pump. I was just looking at the whole engine wiring harnese in the FSM. It has pin outs for everything minus that 1 wire. The manual actually lists the wires from A1-A22 but it skips A18. It's like they deleted that line.
