Spectrum Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 So I'm wondering if I should debadge the LTZ. What do you guys think? Also, though I don't want to, I added the option of rebadging it as a Z34. Quote
jeremy Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 whatever you do, don't put z34 badges on it Quote
ns87 Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 If you debadge it, I would take off everything, Lumina, LTZ, and the chevy logo. It would look really clean. But no Z34 please Quote
Psych0matt Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 I like without. can you remove the bowtie as well? I think that'd look pretty good. anyone wanna ps it just to see, even if it isn't possible? Quote
jeremy Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 I like without. can you remove the bowtie as well? I think that'd look pretty good. anyone wanna ps it just to see, even if it isn't possible? the bowtie comes right off and doesn't leave any holes Quote
Psych0matt Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 that's what I thought, because i pulled one off once at a yard, but wasn't sure if they were all like that Quote
Spectrum Posted December 28, 2007 Author Report Posted December 28, 2007 I don't like it without anything. It looks too empty I think. I was thinking about getting a red bowtie from a Monte Carlo perhaps. Quote
logikf1ve Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Nooo. Leave them. I dunno if it's all or some, but I have a trunk panel from a Monte LS that I bought, not sure what year it came off of, but when I pulled the bowtie it left a round hole. Also, when I pulled off the rest of the emblems, all of the lettering from the MONTE CARLO LS was embossed. Even though the emblems were gone, you could see and FEEL where they once were. I doubt it's a common thing to have happen, but the possibility of it happening is there. It took an assload of sanding and a repaint to get rid of it. I put the bowtie back on, though. Quote
ns87 Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 ^^ thats true actually. I debadged my car, but the emblems still "ghosted" in the paint Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 I agree with you man, leaving the bowtie in there looks better than an empty panal. I do like it without the lumina and LTZ emblems thou. Quote
Euro Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 ^^ thats true actually. I debadged my car, but the emblems still "ghosted" in the paint That's not a problem though, just use a little rubbing compound and it should take out the ghosts. I have a ghost on my trunk lid that faded after a little buffing. I like it all gone, bowtie included! Quote
alphagtp Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 debadge it, but leave a red bowtie Quote
jeremy Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 at least no one voted to badge it a z34 Quote
Euro Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 I vote he do a "Z31" instead of Z34...... Quote
jeremy Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 I vote he do a "Z31" instead of Z34...... ironically enough, that would probably make more sense Quote

Matts97cutty89 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 I think it would look HOTT to debage completely and paint rear panel the body color(red)!! Photoshop anyone?? Quote
synistershadows Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 i say half debadge picture this chevy logo with just the LTZ or as previous debadge and paint body color but leave the chevy logo opposite example: red panel black chevy logo, or just clean it all off and relocate the LTZ to say the driver and passenger doors? Quote
Guest BrOnXBoMbAz213 Posted January 3, 2008 Report Posted January 3, 2008 leave the bowtie.... also lose the splashguards or get some nicer ones Quote
GPX Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 I don't care for badges--especially dealer badges and decals. [isn't it bad enough that I bought a car from you and now you want to put free advertising on it? I don't think so!] Quote
