19Cutlass94
Do you have a problem with the lower spring seat hitting the inner fender well?

GOT2B GM
Neither my Z34 with ST's or my TGP with Intrax's rub. Maybe you had something rotated incorrectly when you swapped the springs? Just a thought.

TurboSedan
sounds like your lower spring seat isn't posistioned correctly. there are two small holes in the lower spring seat that need to face outwards (towards wheel).
19Cutlass94
I was just wondering because on my car the top of the lower spring seat hits the plastic inner fender well, like in this pic ( thanks matt! ) The top of the lower spring seat hits the plastic inner fender well. I know that both spring seats are postioned correctly. Only really happens when I turn the wheel though. And it only happens on the passengers side. joey b
I had that problem, but it was due to a siezed strut spring seat bearing. Think I paid 40 bucks for a new one. Requires complete disassembly of the strut.
19Cutlass94
All the bearings ans spring seats are brand new. Were put in when the springs were put in.
GOT2B GM
No prob. It looks like your lower spring seat in that picture should be rotated counterclockwise (looking from above) if your wheels were straight in that pic.
19Cutlass94
I went out and looked and they are both straight with the tires. Could it be possible that I just got that much of a drop out of the ST springs and Im making a big deal of nothing?
