Redfox340 Posted July 14, 2003 Report Posted July 14, 2003 Well, you don't really need a link to lossen a couple door jam bolts and re-align the door. However, there IS a great deal of patience and teardown to get to those bolts. My father and I did a door install on the Celebrity we owned and it took a good few hours to get it where we wanted it... ... and that's no where close to what a professional body shop could of done. - Erik Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted July 14, 2003 Report Posted July 14, 2003 Normally when these doors sag, the hinge pin bushings are bad. You can test for this by grabbing the bottom of the door while open, and see if it lifts up at all. Bad hinge pin bushings can't be replaced (not available). You have to replace the hinges. You can replace the hinges with the door shut through the wheel well. I've never done it myself, but that's what the TSB's say. Quote
