roomylumy
That's it in a nutshell. Car runs fine at idle, and around town, but when I accelerate to about 95-100 km/h it doesn't want to do it, and it will level out for seconds at a time, causing "bucking". I'm thinking ignition coil, or pehaps even ICM? Any opinions?
roomylumy
I guess I should tell you it's a 1990 Lumina with a 3.1. It seemed obvious to me! LOL.
ns87
What about when you just floor it? Does it cut out first?
BXX
it's a big possibilty it can be an injector issue as well...
roomylumy
If I floor it from a standing start, it is pertfect from the start, just problems after I get to higher speeds.

Brian P
my mom's old Cutlass Supreme had a miss that was only noticeable at highway speeds. It was an ignition problem, wires were arcing at the coils. I would check for something like that.
