DRL's How to get rid of em

ok, so in my lumina it has drl's which are basicly low powered high beams and auto lights, i dont want to get rid of my auto lights, but the drl's and auto lights are on the same fuse, so how do i turn off the drl's?

on the GP's there's a heatsink right behind the drivers part of the dash. If you've got a hole on the side of your dash like we do open it up and it should be there. Lemme find the link.

wouldn't unplugging the drl module throw a code?

 

Shouldn't. If it was a newer Impi it might though.

 

Sucks for them too. $75 and you get something to disable them for you.

with my silverado you can turn them off buy turning the head light on off on off on off then they turn off (something like that) i remeber my dad doing it when it was his truck.
