Well I was looking at Aweb’s Rstb’s. And I was wondering. How would this make my car handle with out a front. Would a Stb from a 1995ish Bonnie fit on my grand prix. Is it worth the cash? am I going to be able to feel the difference and if the bonnie has a front stb. Would it have a rear stb?

The h body stb's need to be drilled and adjusted, so yes potentially it would fit, and yes, a rear stb would help your car handle alot, the rear end on these cars are far too loose already, just look at the size differences from the front sway bar to the rear, at most stoct its only a 14mm, and thats with a 34mm front sway bar. firming up the rear end would also let you spin out a bit easier, that is if you want to, but it mainly aids in turning, the car will follow the same direction, less body roll

Not Alot Easier, But Only If Your Being Dumb. Check My AutoX Vids on youtube. there was only one time that the car got away from me. i think the video is "Grand Prix 3" IIRC. Search AWeb80 And My Vids should come up.

personally i think that the front STB is the most important... i didnt feel much of a dif with the rear STB. the front makes a major diff.

You don't have a clue what you're talking about. In reality the Rear STB Adam made is the single best investment I've made for my cutlass. My RSM front STB doesn't add all that much IMHO...

they are a piece of cake to install. the front are the hardest, i got mine off a mid 90s bonneville, was able to use the square stock that came with it, and all you have to do is drill one new hole on the bracket, slide the square stock longer, and drill the 2nd hole larger.

now, for the rear, you need to buy a new square stock, but no worries, just need to get a three foot one, b/c it is an exact fit. re-drill the holes larger, leaving them in the original position, and di-grind some of the middle outta the bracket itself, to clear the strut mount, and you wil be golden.

I noticed a lot with the cutlass STB I had on my Lumina, and about the same with Aweb's rear stb. Both together though....made quite a big difference!!!!

I think my Lumina handled better than my GP does.

That Is What My Bro Says. My Gp In Stock Form Handled Better Than His 2K Gp Gt Does With Both STB's.

the 2nd gen W's suck compared to the 1st gen w's in handling. thats why gmpp makes so much stuff for them, they know its all no where near as strong as it needs to be.

Aweb's rear stb is by far a better investment then drilling and modifying a j/y front stb, and not to mention aweb's rstb looks hawt powdercoated, its a nice touch

yeah those are the only ones available that are manufactured for 1st gens, but what he was saying was the front stb's from h bodys can be modified for both front and rear stb's however in the rear it just doesent look that good with all the drilling that needs to be done, i really dont even like it in the front but cutty front stb's are getting rare, we need to do some sort of interchange for cutty front stb's here, like if anyone finds one at a j/y to let ppl know, but shipping on those is expensive too

hmmm....well, investment wise, mine costs a grand total of $15 (5 for the brackets, and 10 for the square stock) and only requires minimal actual work. I am pretty sure you can powdercoat just about anything.......

plus, mine LOOKS factory, since it is....mostly

but whatever floats your boat, i am not tryin to steal any of Aweb's thunder, some of us just kinda have more time on their hands then others.
