DavidHowell3633
I'm hoping you can tell me where the transmission temp switch ground wire is located. When cold, Reverse and Drive are weak (slip) until warm. Guessing ground wire to temp switch is loose. Thanks
BXX
Sounds like the trans is just bad man
Chancho
yea, a ground wire wouldnt cause the tranny to slip, granted im not to fluent with thransmissions, but im pretty sure im correct
DavidHowell3633
Agreed- it is a long shot. But, I found on an older thread that said there is a temp switch that controls fluid flow when cold and can simulate slippage due to a bad ground. They suggested the loose black ground wire that should be near a yellow switch wire would run up the rear of the transmission. Just need to rule this out. Thanks.
