Throw Out Bearing Retainer

Does anyone know if there is a replacement for the throw out bearing retainer, GM pn 8672128 other than GM?

 

I just bought a Luk clutch set, and I'm in the process of replacing the clutch but I found the throw out bearing retainer was busted. This was causing my clutch to not disengage. I called my local dealer, and they said that it would have to be ordered from the GM warehouse in Pontiac, Michigan. I was hoping to have the engine back in the car soon, but it sounds like that's impossible.

 

To top things off, the stealership said that this part was discontinued and would only be able to special order them as long as supplies last. My Luk bulletin said that this retainer was notorious for failing. I don't want to replace the busted part with something that will fail again.

bearing retainer.... clutch fork?

 

if thats the part it is available from advance auto for about 60 dollars

I'm a dumbass. I realized that it was the throwout bearing itself that broke. I thought the bearing sat in a retaining cup that rode on the fork, but once I pulled my head out of my ass, I realized that it was the throwout bearing itself.
