So my Abs/ parking brake lights have been on for the past few months. I finally got around to having it scanned today. It came up as code 51 and i quote "rear axle nut failure, motor spinning freely"... i was so confused i didnt know what to say. The mechanic even said it makes no damn sense whatsoever. I looked up code 51 in the GM code reference guide and it sais "Rear ABS isolation valve failure". If anyone could at least give me the slightest clue as to what that means i would be thrilled.

Well actually, yea, I think so lol.

Rear isolation valve probably means the valve within the MC that controls the rear brake pressure during ABS actuation. I dunno if I've ever heard of problems with ABS IV but I guess they're bound to happen (as opposed to my PM3 ABS when they're expected to happen )

Yeah ive been trying to look it up online to see what it is i got a basic outline of what i does... but not too much on where its located. I think it is part of the ABS Modulator?? If you really have one for sale how much?? i wanna get this taken care as quickly as possible... snow is gonna be hitting the ground real soon. I think they said we are supposed to get three inches today

AHHH I C.... but do you really have one for sale... because autozone said i think 260 for an abs Modulator and i cant afford that right now. Rent, car insurance, nipsco, tool bills, and cell phone bills are fucking killing me on my underpaid salary!
