Euro Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 HAHA, this is funny because on my way home last night at 2am I was thinking "hmm I wonder how everybody would feel about a section or sticky of all w-body ads and stuff" Quote
Schudini Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 I still want that Mule hood. BAD! Quote
Scottster Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Howcome theres never any Oldsmobile shit?! My Dad bought a black/black 1990 Cutlass International new, and this has always been kicking around the coffee table since...so here ya go!! Funny memory of that when I was a kid, my dad had spent an entire saturday cleaning it up, and as he was waxing, it began to rain...He just kept on goin' though! Another was one of our annual fall trips to new england...he still swears that car was one of the best handling and funnest cars he's ever had...I sure remember sliding from one side of the back seat to the other, as we blasted down those curvy mountain roads! This is from the 1990 Cutlass full line brochure... And a nice shot for those who like to go topless... I have stuff pertaining to the Pontiac lying around somewhere, but this will do for now... mfewtrail Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 There's a magazine scan post somewhere around here already(in the general section). Also, that is a 3.4 in the auto shop picture above. A lot of LQ1's were donated to automotive schools/community colleges years ago for the students to work on. The ones donated to colleges were crate engines that did not have intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, etc. on them. They were basically longblocks with a few sensors included. EDIT: http://www.w-body.com/forum/index.php/topic,33415.0.html Some of the ones in that thread might not work anymore. I'm planning on reupping everything I've posted in the past. Quote
Scottster Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Here are some adds for the Hot handling, cool looking Grand Prix...if you get my drift... Quote
gpchris Posted November 22, 2007 Author Report Posted November 22, 2007 Can someone make this a sticky?? This thread has a lot of good reading for enthusiasts. I've got plenty more I'm just way too lazy to upload right now. Quote
AWeb80 Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 I've Got Some. Just Need To Scan Them Quote
Scottster Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 I have an article from Car and Driver of the Grand Prix, when it debued in 1987. It's not of very good quality though, since it is black and white micro-film photocopy from the library archive. The text is readable, but unfortunatly the images didn't come out very good. Does anyone happen to have the October 1987 issue of Car and Driver? I've always wanted (well... not ALWAYS) to see the article in full colour. I can scan it in as-is, just for the reading material. GP1138 Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 I've got 1990 model year Chevy, Pontiac, and Buick dealer brochures in mint condition. I've also got a few Motor Trend articles about 1991 model year cars, including the STE. Quote

ManicMechanic Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Josh and S.A.M. Clips from Josh and Sam Looks like a 3.4 (quad exhaust tips) SE with the shoulder belts cut, the headrests removed...Never saw the movie though. lol Quote
Euro Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Josh and S.A.M. Clips from Josh and Sam Looks like a 3.4 (quad exhaust tips) SE with the shoulder belts cut, the headrests removed...Never saw the movie though. lol I think it was an SE. In the movie they had the real exhaust note and it was definitely a 3.1 tone. And, I've got a ton of ads and stuff, however no scanner, and I don't feel like trying to get good pictures of them lol Quote
