3.1LUMITIC
To start off this is on my moms 93 grand prix 3.1. The car started dying everytime it came to a stop and progressivly got worse by the hour, until it would not even run anymore. It does not hesitate, no shudder, just straight dies whenever you come to a stop. I unplugged the egr and the car runs fine. I have tried unplugging the tps and then plugging the egr in, no difference. Then i unplugged the iac and plugged the egr in, still same problem. I am getting 14 volts from the power wire that plugs into the egr. Cylanoids on the egr are all working properly, tested with a 9-volt battery. I am getting a code 22 after i unplugged the tps and plugged it back in, and a code 32 of corse because i have the egr unplugged. Before all this started happening it gave me code 33 and i replaced the map sensor and the code went away. Please anybody Help. -Matt
Psych0matt
have you cleaned up your egr at all?I would take all the valves out and soak them in brake cleaner, clean them off well, as well as spray a bit into the housing, and then see what happens

NO. it does not have the right circuitry to operate the transmission.
