Here's the skinny so far.

Had car scanned, all systems and sensors functioning normally.

Had Ben tweak my chip.

Install chip, clear ecm and the car runs AWESOME!

After 2 weeks of driving, cold hesitation returns. When warm, it runs fantastic!

I have noticed that everytime I've disconnected the battery and reset the ecm, cold hesitation goes away for a spell.

Any ideas? I'm ready to sell the car for I'm tired of working on it and dropping $$ into it.

I will be able to get you GM dealership troubleshooting sometime tonight! This might be an easy fix. I heard alot of cold hesitation is too much or too little EGR, have Ben delete EGR on your chip.

Awesome! Anything will help.

I did the EGR delete this time. I'm kinda wondering if I need to make a block plate. Shouldn't have too but I'm running out of ideas and I refuse to just throw parts at it.

Just take the EGR off, and trace it on a piece of metal and use metal snippers.....the only bad part is you might need a new GM gasket to put on the block off.....pending the old one get wrecked...A new one is like 5 bucks though...and it's gauarnteed to delete leakage.

just hope you dont have to trace down a wire. that was what was causing my car to act funny when i gave it throttle off idle for about 1K RPM

I know that pain, it's fuckin shitty. I can almost bet it's just an overlooked situation. We'll see what I can dig up for you tonight man!
