StealthGrandPrix Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 I currently have the stock dual exhaust tips on my 95 GP. I cleaned the hell out of them with a Brillo Pad for about thirty minutes, but they are still a bit corroded. Is there a better method for cleaning these or should I just replace them with a newer set and if so, where do I get them besides the dealer? My exhaust needs to be straightened as it is as one of my pipes hangs a bit lower than the other. Thanks. Quote
pwmin Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 yeah, dip em in acid or use a bench grinder w/ a metal brush wheel to clean them off, then sand down the ends till theyre polished. or you could sandblast them and have all but the polished ends powdercoated, like AWeb did Quote
StealthGrandPrix Posted November 9, 2007 Author Report Posted November 9, 2007 Can I just buy this acid at the hardware store or where? Quote
