ismellrealbad Posted November 7, 2007 Report Share Posted November 7, 2007 yeah you can do it. its not hard but its not fun either. u need at least 2 jacks and at least 4 jack stands, probably more. the hardest part is lifting the trans back up and in and getting the input shaft in. yanno i just saw this weekend in a napa catalog they make fucking floor trans jacks and clutch assembly jacks??? god they have a tool for everything Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Support the car on the stands. Lower the rear of the subframe onto a brick. Lower the front and lift off of the jack. If necessary, jack up subframe and remove brick.
