oil in the spark plugs??

I'm assuming you have oil ON the spark plug if so,

It's probably piston rings or cylinder walls that are badly worn. Oil may also be pulled into the chamber because of excessive clearance in the valve stem guides, or badly worn valve stem seals. If the PCV valve is plugged or inoperative, it can cause a buildup of crankcase pressure. This condition can force oil and oil vapors past the rings and valve guides into the combustion chamber.

Change the pcv if you haven't in a long time, and/or do a compression test.

literally, is a puddle, you can stick your finger in it, outside of the plugs, just taking the wires out and looking/feeling in there, with out messing/moving the plug, not a lot but, last time I had to use some towels to dry it out, I'm going to change the pcv here soon to see if helps because I don't remember ever changing it...

it been a long while since i worked on a LQ1, but IIRC the plugs go in thru the top of the valve cover. if so, then the grommets around each spark plug hole are bad. just get a valve cover gasket set.

It is either your cam carrier gasket, or the valve cover gromet seals. More then likely its the cover gromets. THey run under $15 and can be put in, taking no longer then 5-10 min
