hell_raiser
hey i have a question i have a 97 cutless supreme sedan and i was woundering could i put a 93 dohc engine in it? or would it be beter to just go 3400?
Z34-5speed
Considering your car is obd2 it would be easier to put a 96-97 LQ1 into it (3.4DOHC) than putting in a 93, the 93 would be Obd1.

CSI_MuNkY
97 was the last year for the LQ1 and should of been available in the cs and the lumina, if my memory serves me correctly... it is 5:30am here, I'm tired. Jamie

Euro
THe Monte Z34 was the only w to get the 3.4 in 97 IIRC. I'd just go 3400 because that would be much easier.

The lumina had that as an option as well. Regardless, go with the 3400
GP1138
the head wint IT'S "WENT" not "WINT". And myself and a couple of other gentlemen here converted my old 3100 to 3400 intakes a couple of years ago. I'd honestly just swap the whole motor having said that.
