TjR0b3rTs Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 I noticed the other day that my cutlass has halogen head lights and i was wondering if they came stock or if whoever had it before me put them in. just wondering so if one burns out i will know what i need to get. here are a few pics of them Quote
ManicMechanic Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 All Cutlass Supremes have halogen headlights... Quote
xtremerevolution Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 you lucky bastards. I can't get my high beam to stay on with my low beam. How exactly would I go about doing this? Quote
ManicMechanic Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 I think there are a few write ups on that, mostly for 1988+ Chevy trucks, see if you can find an article. Quote
Regal_GS_1989 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 you lucky bastards. I can't get my high beam to stay on with my low beam. How exactly would I go about doing this? All Mini-quad cutlasses are like that. Quote
Euro Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 They look like Silverstars maybe? They have that blue tint to them. Quote

All Mini-quad cutlasses are like that. mine are like that I'd like to get my fogs to stay on too, but I haven't ran my fogs in like 3 months cuz I need to replace a bulb Quote
BXX Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 you lucky bastards. I can't get my high beam to stay on with my low beam. How exactly would I go about doing this? All Mini-quad cutlasses are like that. Yup, definately a cool feature Quote
1990lumina Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Proabbly because the light output still sucks even with all 4 lights on lol Quote
BXX Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Hell no, even before I went to Silverstars, the low beams were plenty adaquate.... Hell running the high beams was damn near overkill... remember kids, headlight alignment is the key... I have always been a firm believer in paying a good shop that had the RIGHT equipment to aim the headlights correctly. Quote
rockfangd Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 I dont know i always aim my own the old fashioned way and they are always perfect Quote
Andrew Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 i just aimed mine yesterday. it isnt that hard when its dark out and you are facing a garage door. Quote
5speedz34 Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Yea, umm, cars have been getting halogen headlights since like the 60's. Maybe your thinking of HID's? But those do like Silverstars or some sort of HID knockoff. Quote
