Well really more than most would think. My Mom's friends Husbands 99 Silverado Classic door key fits my door. The key/lock get wore out when used alot so its wore out more and more and wala you got more keys for it

Yea all of my old crown vic police interceptors door keys were wore out so bad that any key that even remotly resembeled the shape of my key would open the dor no problem, from a honda key once to a jeep key, all it had to do was look like the origional key...lol

I remember reading on this forum a long time ago, a member had a Lumina, and bought another one, I think it was the same color. And it had the exact same keys.

Yeah, a year or so ago some IL GP guys had a meet, and 4 or 5 of the guys had keys that would open at least 1 other GP that was there. 1 guy's key actually started another guy's car.
