Crazy K
I have a perfectly good well maintained complete 1994 LQ1 drivetrain that I wish to swap into a 91 W-body, formerly running a 3.1 mpfi. What is different between the OBD 1 and OBD 1.5 that I must tackle? SWAP RULES. the 94 drivetrain is complete and running. I MIGHT wish to be able to go back to OBD 1.5 in the future, if I eventually am able to mod the chip. I can get an ODB 1 LQ1 harness. I have a 91-93 LQ1 ECM with auto chip. I expect to swap the entire subframe and front struts. I will have to get an obd 1 1 wire oxygen sensor. I will be transfering the exhaust system from the donor into the project car. HAVE I MISSED ANYTHING? fans? other sensors? thoughts? sensors? p.s. I don't know yet if the trans connector is different. can I rewire the trans connector if it is? ManicMechanic
Ken...Seriously...You're tackling too many projects at once. Slow down, one at a time.

I might just stick the drivetrain in the garage... and do this in the spring. after all... the project car does run... but the donor car... other than dogtracking like a mofo... is in great condition with a new Timing belt and all!
