Dark Ride Posted October 26, 2007 Report Share Posted October 26, 2007 I'm trying to get some Info on what top end and valvetrain options are available for my TGP and the advantages/disadvantages of each. I'll be rebuilding the motor when I do this and would like to make some extra power. I've got a general idea of what I think I want to do, but I want to hear your input first. Heads? Intake? Lifters? TPG Greg Posted October 27, 2007 Report Share Posted October 27, 2007 i may be wrong. but i always thought that new 3.9 motor would be a good drop in. they are like 230hp or so N/A. so throw a little boost at it i would think you could get over 300hp. you would also have to find some one to tune it.
