ManicMechanic Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Note hubcaps on the coupe. Don't believe I've ever seen a 3.4 coupe in that color. Quote
GOT2B GM Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 that color would look nice with chrome wheels Quote
Euro Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 Somebody on here had one like that with chrome wheels on it. Quote
Andrew Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 wow, that cutty is in damn good shape!! i'd let the wife drive that. its a nice color, just not my color. Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Uncommon I would say not rare. Quote
Addicted2bass Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 All the DOHC cuttys ive seen had the 5 spoke rims. I assumed thats the way they all came. Quote
Mr_Efficiency Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 I think he was refering to the motor in a 4 door, I was thinking the same thing today when i saw a 4 door lumina with hub caps and such, but it had the DOHC v6 in it... I was always under the impression that was a high end coupe thing. Quote
cutty Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 hey the car in the first pic looks familiar, except for the engine size. Quote
slick Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 I've seen one or two around Toledo. Quote
Brian P Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 never seen that color on a DOHC coupe before. Right up there with that malachite color. If only I ordered one of these bad boys when they were new. Quote
Scottster Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 As for the hubcaps, those aren't OEM...just Walmart specials. Quote
Psych0matt Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 I've seen a number of sedans in that color, don't think ive ever seen a coupe (in person) that color Quote
boulevard Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 There are many 2-dr Lumina Euros with 3.4L so I would figure they would also found in the Cutlass seeing there both W-bodies and GMs. That car is in great shape. I don't know of anyone who has a 90's Cutlass as a collector's car. Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Wasn't Terry's car this color. The color is uncommon I would say most any 3.4 in a cutty coupe is uncommon, with that color rare. Quote
Addicted2bass Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 There is a hot tan colored cutty sedan with the DOHC thats always parked at the beer store we stop at in niagra falls canada when we go over the border. Other than that ive only seen one other one, a red one that is pretty rotted. I see ti around town from time to time. Could you get a DOHC car from the factory with sawblade rims like that sedan has? Ive only seen them with 5 spokes. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted October 24, 2007 Author Report Posted October 24, 2007 DOHCs were available with Sawblades and 5 spokes on coupe, convertible and sedan. Quote
joey b Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 I don't think the 5 spokes were even available until 93. I see quite a few sedan 3.4's. Somewhat rare, but they are definately out there. My 3.4 has the sawblades. Quote
