stryker
3 months ago I replaced the water pump on the 3.1v6 and I still can't get the low coolant light to go off. I have checked the coolant every weekend for the last couple of weeks just to make sure the light isn't on for a 'real' reason. But it is always full,in the rad. and it's where it's supposed to be in the recovery tank. I even tried resetting the computer but it's still on. Anyone have any ideas or advice? I would like to get this fixed cause i'm trying to sell the car. Thanks,Lee.
BXX
Did you properly bleed the air outta the coolant system??
runt
Bad sensor?
joey b
more than likely a dirty sensor. They get gunked up and don't read correctly. It is located on the passenger side of the radiator. Take it off the radiator and scrape the crap out.
Pontiac6KSTEAWD
What Joey said, or replace the sensor. But they arent cheap. 68 bucks at autozone.
