dohc v6 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I got the brake line kit for my car. Well I went to tighten the bolt that attaches the line to the caliper and the bolt snaped inside the caliper. I used the other one and it torqued down fine. Does anyone have a number or a contact. dohc v6 Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 Shit man it was a long time ago. I will just use the stock ones. Quote
gp90se Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 stock will work fine, try to keep it under 90 foot pounds this time Quote
dohc v6 Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 Yeah right. I had the torque wrench set to 24. actual it supposed to be 32 Quote
Bossman429 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I snapped the Goodridge supplied bolts when I installed mine, I think the torque spec they list is a little high. I just used the factory bolts on mine too, but you can buy those banjo bolts at any parts store in the HELP! line. make sure you bring an old one in to match the thread size, parts stores can't look those bolts up by application. GutlessSupreme Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I snapped one of my bolts too, ended up just using 1 of the stock ones. I was pissed that it snapped though, it wasn't really all that tight. Quote
Bossman429 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Funny, thats exactly what I thought when mine broke too Quote
