oldred98 Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 I rewired the plug and put a digital cluster in my 92 c/s, but was wondering what changes were neccessary to install a analog/gauge cluster instead? I was hoping it would be as simple as just changing the cluster..................... Anyone?.................................... Quote
Crazy K Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 what was your first cluster? are you using the fully gauged digital cluster? Quote
ManicMechanic Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 If it's a '92...The only digital cluster available was the base cluster. Adding the analog gauges should be accomplished by putting the wires back to where they were. Quote
ns87 Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Yeah, unfortunately you have to rewire your plug to its original form. That will run the cluster perfectly! I converted my car to that cluster Quote
oldred98 Posted October 19, 2007 Author Report Posted October 19, 2007 original cluster was base digital, now upgraded to full gauge digital cluster Quote
ns87 Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 yup. Thats the exact switch I did. Base digital to needle style. Wiriing is exactly the same except the tach wire goes to the white wire in the main harness under the hood Quote
