Coolant overflow + Vacuum lines

Hey Guys,

I'm hopefully finishing up my 3.1 turbo 5 speed swap tonight on my Cutlass, I'm hoping that somebody can help me out!!

Can somebody take a picture of how their coolant overflow tank is mounted and where it is located? I've seen a number of pictures, and the coolant overflow tank I have off Dave's Olld Turbo CS is mounted over the ECM and no other TGP's I've seen are. Wondering how/where the stock one is mounted, and if somebody can tell me how I can mount the one I have that mounts over the ECM.

If I mount the one over the ECM does that mean I do not need the black piece that would normally cover it? I'm confused as to how it goes together since I've never seen one like this and did not take it apart.

ALSO does anybody have a picture of the vacuum line routing for a TGP? I can't find it, and I need to know how they were routed. Unfortunetly I do NOT have a TGP handy to go outside and look at!

Any help ASAP is GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks!

here's how the over-the-ecm tank mounts:

There's one screw that goes into the diagonal brace, and there are 3 studs on the body near the strut tower plate. You probably don't have these studs. One goes through the overflow tank, and the other two hold on a crappy looking black guard that goes over the wiring between the overflow tank and the firewall.

The stock turbo coolant bottle is unique to the turbo cars. It mounts in front of the turbo on the radiator core, next to the intercooler. It kind of looks like a big [ (there's a cutout in the center where it kinda wraps around the A/C lines. One bolt holds it into the upper part of the radiator core support.. I can't remember how else, it's been a long time lol.

I'm undecided what route I want to go. I find the turbo bottle annoying and cramped. Plus it rubs a hole through every cone filter I've put on the turbo (if I had a bend for the filter this wouldn't be a problem). I want to use a over-the-ecm tank, but they look ugly and I'd have to prolly use some self tapping screws to mount it. plus who knows how often I'll have to have access to the ecm lol. so I dunno yet. I'll see if i have a pic with the stock turbo tank online already...
