mfewtrail Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Dudlee, the temperature sender for the gauge is accessible from the top after you unbolt the dogbones and rotate the engine forward(to give you more access to the rear of the engine). Also, don't waste your money on those Bosch Platinum +4 spark plugs. They will do absolutely nothing other than making your wallet lighter. The stock recommended AC Delco plugs are part # R44LTSM and are only about $10-12 for all 6 of them vs. $40ish for those platinum +4 junk plugs from Bosch. Quote
Schudini Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Well, it's definitely one of a kind. Quote

partsmore Posted October 26, 2007 Author Report Posted October 26, 2007 Thanks Awe Im about 95 miles from Lincoln - and cant reach or locate that water temp sender - and thats the one I need fixed to safely drive the car. The coolant level switch is bypassed, due to the aftermarket overflow tank, and Id like to get it working right. Need to change the front whel brg - but thats not problem. Then its ready again for the maiden voyage around - and let her drive it, and start getting ready to show. Wants and does die sometimes after running 10-15 secs and then runs pretty good the rest the time. Getting closer. Looking for a set of GTS side skirts for the car if anyone has a set. Quote
