Scottster Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I was wondering if the fog lights on my GP could be opened using the baking method. I have done this before to other lights, but remember a discussion about some w-body lenses being assembled differently. Yay or nay? Quote

19Cutlass94 Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 All bulbs "screw" out... I think hes talking about the lenses... Quote
Scottster Posted October 13, 2007 Author Report Posted October 13, 2007 Yes, I meant seperating the lens from it's housing, so I could refinish the interior of the light...I've sanded and polished the lenses surface, but the interior of the light seems faded, relative to the headlights. Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 Yea, you should be able to seperate them with heat. I would personally try a heat gun or blow dryer. They will probably be real hard to seperate just because the glue they use is real strong. http://www.w-body.com/forum/index.php/topic,45756.0.html ^ Check out that thread. Quote
