Question about Oxygen sensor

It shouldnt be that hard... just spray some shit on there.. let it sit for a while, then go at it.

 

Heres a tip for you as well... when you put the new one in, put a VERY SMALL amount of anti-sieze towards the top of the threads, so if you have to do it again itll come out very easy

I used the boxed end no problem..just slip the wires in the middle of the boxed end..unless the 3100 is different I had plenty of room to put the wiring through..or maybe you have one of those fancey heated O2 sensors..then Idunoo lol

yea its a heated o2. the wrench for me barely has enough clearance because its huge. so one of my neighbors whose a mechanic is gonna help me on monday, he said hes got some type of drive that will get it out

When I did the one on the GP I used:

 

PB Blaster, let it sit for 20 min.

 

A bunch of a extensions and a u-joint, and a offset O2 socket. Worked really well. I put alot of torque on it and the ratchet came off the extension, which broke it loose. Real easy actually.

 

I put a Bosch in because I was pressed for time. If I where to do it again I would use Delco or Denso. I haven't had any problems with the Bosch, but I think you won't notice it unless it completely fails on you. Bosch might give shittier readings.
