19Cutlass94
It shouldnt be that hard... just spray some shit on there.. let it sit for a while, then go at it. Heres a tip for you as well... when you put the new one in, put a VERY SMALL amount of anti-sieze towards the top of the threads, so if you have to do it again itll come out very easy
MikeP2389
well i cant get it out for the life of me. should i cut the wires and get at it with the box end of the wrench. im lost lol
1990lumina
I used the boxed end no problem..just slip the wires in the middle of the boxed end..unless the 3100 is different I had plenty of room to put the wiring through..or maybe you have one of those fancey heated O2 sensors..then Idunoo lol
Crazy K
i rented the o2 sensor 3 piece set from AZ... and broke one of the parts. hope I can return it. and yes, the closed end of the box wrench does not fit over the heated o2 plug. MikeP2389
yea its a heated o2. the wrench for me barely has enough clearance because its huge. so one of my neighbors whose a mechanic is gonna help me on monday, he said hes got some type of drive that will get it out
5speedz34
When I did the one on the GP I used: PB Blaster, let it sit for 20 min. A bunch of a extensions and a u-joint, and a offset O2 socket. Worked really well. I put alot of torque on it and the ratchet came off the extension, which broke it loose. Real easy actually. I put a Bosch in because I was pressed for time. If I where to do it again I would use Delco or Denso. I haven't had any problems with the Bosch, but I think you won't notice it unless it completely fails on you. Bosch might give shittier readings. rockfangd
lol. I have done many of the 3100 o2 sensors and they can be fun but having long fingers is quite a benefit to me
