Stevo Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 After washing the car I noticed the wing seems to want to hold water. Anyway to stop this? Is this a sign the mounts on the decklid are going sour? Will a couple of tiny holds in strategic locations help keep things dry? Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 What's getting wet? Is it seeping into the trunk? I'm kinda lost. Quote
Euro Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Na, the way the trunk is shaped, and the way the spoiler sits on the trunk, water kind of pools up and makes a little lake. This link should take care of it(that I have to do soon) This link should answer your question!! http://www.oqcgp.com/upgrades/spoiler_mod/rearspoiler.php Quote
sl3196 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Yup I had to do that a long time ago. Mine was leaking into the trunk though too! Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Is it smart to have it lifted over the trunk though? How does it look? Quote
sl3196 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Is it smart to have it lifted over the trunk though? How does it look? Looks the same except a small gap. Nothing noticable. Why would it matter if its raised or not? Not like it needs downforce lol. Quote

I guess I would need to see it in person. Quote
slick Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 I'm soooo going to do this! My Bonne's spoiler holds water there also. Quote
sl3196 Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Well mine hasn't leaked since I done it. I used a little silcone too. Quote
Euro Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Yeah I think you're supposed to use a little silicone Quote
5speedz34 Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Like I said I guess I'd have to see it in person. Quote
