Battery Cables?

ok so how do you replace the battery cable ends mine are completly striped clean

Just get entire cables in the length you need from a parts store.

well not the cables them selves just the ends my negative terminal end bolt is stripped clean

They sell replacement terminals.

 

You have to "caress" and "negotiate" them out of the plastic cable surround.

 

I got some replacement ones at Napa, for like $2-3.

so how would you get them loose i am asuming that im gona have to pull them out but how do i get them loose?

Once you get the cables off the battery (which was a pain for me). You basically just have to work the plastic sheathing over the terminals. Its not that hard actually, the hardest part for me was the fact that they posts where rounded. Not to mention it was like 15* when I did it.

thanx turns out that the bolt itself can just come out so i took it out and put in a new one cost me nothing

Yea, the bolt is what I meant I guess. The bolt is the post, we just had different terms I guess, LOL.

 

The bolt makes contact with the actual metal cable right?
