GPdriver1986
My brakes seem to be wierd, I got the car in for a safety test and the mechanic said the brakes are fine, my brakes are also new. It feels like it takes forever to stop and they are very smooth when stopping. I guess its just me not being used to the 4 wheel disc brakes, I have driven only cars with disc/drum brakes. Any opinions?
Panopticon
YAY oshawa! anyway Just hope you do'nt have the moraine PMIII unit like i do. Its so shitty it doesn't keep boost pressure anymore. I have to swap it out for a traditional boost unit or pay GM $4200 for a new one....chyeah...right

Robby1870
Is that ABS? Becuase I don't have ABS Yeah, I think thats the ABS, the PM III. Also, you have to realize that W-bodies arent know for their braking abilities. Small front rotors and even smaller rear rotors, with single piston rear calipers. If your pads and rotors are good, then thats all the stopping power you are going to get Robby
SleeperRed90TGp
Panopticon, you can get a rebuilt grake unit for 500-700 from Prior Remanufacturing and there on the net. GnatGoSplat
Sounds like the type of braking that can be expected with conventional semi-metallic pads. I always recommend carbon metallic pads on these cars even though they kick out more dust, they brake a lot better. Also make sure the hose to the vacuum booster isn't collapsed or kinked. That will reduce power assist.
Bolt_Crank
I took out my ABS fuse the pedal would sometimes be really really really stiff, and after a bit of driving like that, it would automatically turn the ABS off anyway.... besides.... I hate ABS o.o
