CNBZ34
So here we are again, car not running as I would like. Bad hesitation when cold, almost like an old carburated car. When warm, mucho better but seems like it is lacking get up and go until I really mat it. Has exhaust leak at the head pipe to manifold but gonna get that handled this week. Things I've done in past year: ACD platinum plugs Beldon Wires IAC TPS EGR 1997 Rotchester INJ's Cat delete Multiple other things that have no bearing on drivability. I find myself driving my silverado more and more regardless of gas price because I'm getting disgusted with the Z. Any ideas?
ns87
The car's coolant temp sensor? Its probably a sensor, but which one is kinda a crap shoot unfortuantely. they're all old at this point
BXX
Sounds like that... I have one for sale if you are interested... It's pretty common for them to fail and early GM ECU's use the CTS signal for quite a bit of fuel delivery calculations.
CNBZ34
I was thinking the CTS as well. Similar failure I had on my 88 Trans Am GTA, which I wish I still had by the way! Location? Engine is a 1997 crate motor. Might be in a different location vs the 1992.....????........

CNBZ34
I'm going to test it after it's warm and see what the volt reading is vs cold, as well as do an ohm test. Anyone tell me where they stashed it on the LQ1?
