Psych0matt
it shouldnt matter, because the 4t60-e is the same for both. dont have any experience, although I almost bought one from a guy like a year ago

xtremerevolution
Do these things need to be installed inside the transmission?
MonteCarloDude
Do these things need to be installed inside the transmission? it depends on what you call inside the trans. as far as i know, with most shift kits, you drop the pan and the valve body, not that much of a PITA. digitaloutsider
Just get an adjustable vacuum modulator. You can also shim the accumulator. Ask Sean (99RegalGS) for advice on that one. I don't know much about the 4T60 accumulators.
5speedz34
You can also shim the accumulator. I thought shimming the accumulator was decided to be bad for the trans?
99RegalGS
na, it's nothing different then to find stiffer springs and install. My old Regal is over 180k (as of last march) and is still shifting great with the shimmed accumulators. EDIT: maybe in the next day I'll attempt to dig up some info for the 4T60 DIY shift kit. digitaloutsider
You can also shim the accumulator. I thought shimming the accumulator was decided to be bad for the trans? I've been running mine shimmed since 205,000 miles. I just put the harder version in. Check out my thread in this section about it.
pwmin
which kit did you find? the only one i would use is a TransGo Jr., however, its not going to do much on an e-trans. Just get an adjustable vacuum modulator. You can also shim the accumulator. X2 get a powrtuner, too
