Crazy K Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 GUYS!!!!! give him the correct answer!!!! IT is a bad turn signal switch. IMO It could be dismantled, contacts cleaned/ bent to retension, re-lubricated, and reinstalled. if that is beyond your abilities... get a new switch. Quote
DiscoStudd Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 3rd brake light lighting up and not the lower 2 = bad signal switch http://tss.likeabigdog.com for your disassembly instructions. Thank you, drive through... Quote
Pontiac6KSTEAWD Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Thank you for the info. I have seen probly 30 1.5 gen w-bodys, and full size GM vans with this problem. Now I know how to tell em to fix it on the W-body, is it the same problem on the full size GM vans. Quote
LumiDriver Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Yeah, stupid fucking TSS. But, at least I can pull forward on it to make the lights go on The part is about 52$ at the local autozone here, you just need to be careful if you replace it (Airbag). Quote
CanadianRegal Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 I have the same problem with the Regal. It's the turn signal switch alright. It's 60 at the dealership. Quote
