Run-Test Fuel Pump Question

I've read the fuel pump has a "test" button somewhere under the hood. Need to drain tank and change fuel pump. Anyone know where this test button is?

 

I'm putting a barbed fitting on the fuel filter, pressing a 5/16" fuel hose on there and running the pump.

John, look to the right of the turbocharger about inline where the remote postive battery terminal is capped off. The fuel pump test wire will be right around that general area.

There is a test WIRE under the hood.... maybe thats what you're thinking of.... the test wire is located right next to the aux. power post.

Hey thanks guys. I was looking for a button. The fuel pump relay is right beside the positive battery terminal with a red cap on it. I'll look for this wire and get the tank pumped out.

It is a single wire with a female connector on it. Put that directly to positive (+) and listen for your pump to run.
