PCGUY112887 Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 It rained for a few days straight here a few days ago, and the left taillight on my 3500 GP collected some moisture in it (mainly in the blinker and reverse bubbles). What is the process of resealing this light? Take it out and pull it apart where? Quote
Q-Ball Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 The whole housing comes apart. It's all on the outside panel. It's really not hard to figure out. Quote

I figured it was fairly simple, just was looking for any suggestions before I did it. For some reason me, plastic, and silicone never seem to get along. I always end up making a big mess of impossible to cleanup silicone, then get mad and break the plastic Updated signature! Quote
PCGUY112887 Posted September 15, 2007 Author Report Posted September 15, 2007 OK I must be retarted... I undid all of the bolts (like 7 of them) from inside the trunk, pulled all of the bulbs out, and the taillamp won't budge? Looked at the GM book, it says to just unbolt and it comes out. It appears 2 studs on the bottom of the light have been broken away from the plastic. Am I just stupid getting this thing out, or did someone glue this POS in here? Quote
