slick Posted September 12, 2007 Report Share Posted September 12, 2007 Well... assuming that they are dual 2 ohm subs. They are only 400 rms each, so 800 total. I'm assuming you have the zx1500.1 amp. So wiring them at 2 ohms would be wayyy overpowering, considering that you probably don't have a box built to spec, and you probably won't tune the amp correctly. So I don't recommend wiring them to 2 ohms. But... at 8 ohms, your amp won't put out near enough power to make these even sound half way decent. So, it's gonna be your call.
