Psych0matt Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 So, I've been debating getting rid of my 19"s sometime in the future and getting a nice set of 18"s, but I want something as light as possible. I like the general style of the ones I have, and also the ones that Thegoul (sp?) has only not in chrome, I like the kinda deep dish look to an extent, and I've also been thinking something either black or gunmetal with a nice lip. anyone have any suggestions or sites that might have something for me? ive checked out tirerack and the like, but not really finding much I like. slick Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Here's my old wheels: http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/NTO3+M.html I loved em. They were soooooo easy to carry around, with tires mounted as well. Quote
Psych0matt Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 too many spokes for a cutlass. maybe on a Z theyd look good Quote
slick Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 But yeah, I could understand not liking them too much. They REALLY had to grow on me, a lot. Quote
slick Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RPO3.html About 17 lbs. a piece. http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RC5.html A bit heavier at around 19 lbs. a piece. http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/jsm.html Special order, so will probably cost you your left nut. Euro Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 They looked awesome on my z34: My Lumina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do you have any other pics from that weekend still? /hijack Quote
jeremy Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 those enkei's that Chris used to have were pimp shit.....they were light as hell, if they looked as nice on my spyder as they did on his Z I would have never gotten rid of them... ....rotational weight is a bitch, and going lightweight definitely has it's benefits, but you will pay a pretty penny for any larger diameter lightweight rim Quote
ManicMechanic Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 My Enkei rs5s weigh in at 17.6... Quote
ManicMechanic Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Here's a site with some weights for various wheels... http://hondaswap.com/reference-materials/popular-wheel-rim-weights-28665/ Quote

Clarke33 Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 How much for the 19's? Do you have any trouble with tire rub? Quote
GutlessSupreme Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 I love your F1s, I think they fit Cutlass' perfectly. They even look good at 19", which I never say about any wheel. I hope you get a replacement as clean looking as those are. Quote
AWeb80 Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 x-laces are 21 lbs a piece....not bad for a factory rim..... Quote
jeremy Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 How much for the 19's? Do you have any trouble with tire rub? I think that there are 4 or 5 other people who called "dibs" on his 19s about a year ago Quote

jeremy Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 with smaller tires I think that it could be pulled off Quote
pwmin Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 those look huge on there! they look pretty good if they were smaller, maybe just smaller tires like jeremy said. Quote

I'll probably throw them on the TGP once it gets running to see, although one has no tire, and one is almost bald. I'll get a pair of 35's for the replacements and throw those on the fronts Quote
