xtremerevolution Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 The spoiler isn't installed yet, but I put it on the car just to see how it looked and so I could take some pictures. Bumper replacement is coming some time this month. Quote
Psych0matt Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 painting the spoiler? I think it'd look good when painted, but not if you leave it black Quote
xtremerevolution Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 painting the spoiler? I think it'd look good when painted, but not if you leave it black I was actually thinking of leaving it black, to match the black grille, black rims, black hood louvers, black tinted windows, and black interior racing seats... xtremerevolution Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 thats what I was afraid of How come it works for the charger and not for me? Quote
digitaloutsider Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Because you drive a Regal, not a Charger.. Quote

xtremerevolution Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 So much for asking an honest question. Quote
Psych0matt Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 So much for asking an honest question. to answer your question: It'll look like you pulled it out of the junkyard and slapped it on without a second thought. also, the charger is a completely different shape and style, modeled after muscle cars of the 60s and 70s, and a regal is a more old personish luxury car with very different body lines. In my opinion, I think leaving it black would look like garbage, but that's my own opinion, and I wouldn't hate your car if you did that, I just wouldn't think it'd look as good as it could. clean and simple, subtle details are what I try to pay attention to, not "hey look at this neat thing I added." still, I give you props for doing your own work and trying to make it your own Quote
Nick1234 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 that charger is soo god damn hott. I think a black spoiler would work if there was more black in the rear, and more of a theme like on the charger. Quote
Psych0matt Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 if the wheels had an aluminum colored lip i think that would help a lot, but yeah, if you nightshaded the rear tail bar that might look ok if you were gonna leave it black Quote
pwmin Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 to me, it doesnt work on the charger either. btw, magnum >>>> charger. i dont think it looks that bad, though. really wish you coulda moved the vents out further to, say, the lines on your hood. Quote

I was *definitely* planning on nightshading the rear tail bar. I just haven't figured out how yet. Quote
slick Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 IMO, I can't stand it when vehicles have the black body parts while the rest of the body is colored something different. Just looks much better when everything is matching. Quote
Euro Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 I was *definitely* planning on nightshading the rear tail bar. I just haven't figured out how yet. It's not that hard. It's just like painting. I think the black spoiler will look good after a nightshade. Quote

It's just like painting. I think the black spoiler will look good after a nightshade. Sounds good. I know this has been posted elsewhere, but how exactly would I go about getting a nightshade on my rear light bar? Quote

I know this has been posted elsewhere, but how exactly would I go about getting a nightshade on my rear light bar? it's a spray transparent paint from VHT, you spray it on, it's not rocket science. And IMO I don't like the black stuff but the rims., and I second shaun about why it "works" for the charger. Quote
